Scenario 01 — Large Format

Concert & Festival

High-output rigs built for long throw distances, fast cue changes and, when the stage is outdoors, full IP65 weather protection. We size the beam angles and fixture count to your actual trim height and throw distance — not to a generic package.

Common challenges

  • Throw distance. A beam that looks sharp at 8 m turns to mush at 40 m. Wide beam angles simply cannot hold a defined shaft across a stadium.
  • Ambient light. Dusk sets and daylight festival slots wash out low-output fixtures, killing contrast before the show even starts.
  • Programming speed. Dozens of cues per song demand fast pan/tilt and instant colour changes — slow mechanics cost you the look.
  • Fleet scale. Addressing, firmware and fault-finding across 100+ fixtures is where most rigs lose hours.

Our approach

  • Narrow-beam optics. SL-B280 / B400 / B600 deliver 2°–4° beams with high centre intensity, holding a solid shaft well past 40 m.
  • Headroom for daylight. 600 W and 800 W flagships (SL-B600, SL-H800) for large stages and high ambient light.
  • Fast mechanics. Three-phase motors drive full 540°/270° travel in about 2.2 s with 16-bit positioning accuracy.
  • Network control. SL-C2 outputs Art-Net with RDM — batch-address the whole rig and read back fixture status from FOH.

  • Load-in wear. Housings, connectors and fans fail first when a fixture is trucked and rigged dozens of times a year.
  • Venue variability. One night a 400-seat hall, the next a 4,000-cap arena — you cannot carry a different fixture for each.
  • Downtime cost. A dead fixture mid-show is far more expensive than the fixture itself.
  • Fleet consistency. Mixed firmware and colour bins across batches make matching looks a nightmare.

Scenario 03 — Precision Optics

Theatre & Performance

Theatre lighting is judged on what the camera and the audience do not notice: no flicker, no fan noise, no colour shift on skin, no stepping in a 30-second fade. Our Fresnel, profile and follow-spot range is specified around exactly those four constraints.

Common challenges

  • Camera capture. Low PWM frequency produces banding and scan lines the moment you stream or record.
  • Skin tones. Low-CRI sources flatten faces and make costumes read wrong — the single most common complaint in houses of worship and theatre.
  • Ambient noise. In a quiet auditorium, fan noise is audible from the back row.
  • Long fades. 8-bit dimming visibly steps during slow cross-fades. Theatre needs 16-bit plus a proper curve.

Our approach

  • Flicker-free drivers. PWM ≥ 3 kHz across the range, safe for 4K capture and high frame rates.
  • High rendering. CRI ≥ 95 and TLCI ≥ 90 on the Fresnel and profile range for natural skin and costume colour.
  • Quiet operation. Temperature-controlled fan curves hold under 28 dB(A) at 1 m in silent mode.
  • Smooth dimming. 16-bit resolution with selectable linear, square and S-curve dimmer laws.

Low ceilings, ten-hour nights and an operator whose job is playing music, not running a console. We specify compact fixtures with built-in sound-active and auto modes, plus thermal management that keeps output stable all night.

  • Low trim heights. At 3–5 m ceiling height, full-size moving heads simply do not fit.
  • Continuous runtime. Six to ten hours every night accelerates lumen depreciation and fan failure.
  • Non-specialist operation. The DJ needs the room to look good without programming a single cue.
  • Access cost. Fixtures are usually grid- or truss-mounted, so every service call is expensive.

Most congregations now stream every service, which turns the sanctuary into a television studio. That changes the specification: flicker-free output, high CRI on the speaker's face, and fans quiet enough to forget about.

  • Livestream quality. Camera sensors expose flicker and colour casts that the naked eye never sees in the room.
  • Facial rendering. The speaker must be evenly lit, shadow-free and natural — hard light and low CRI both fail here.
  • Silence. A quiet sanctuary makes fan noise obvious during prayer and spoken sections.
  • Volunteer operators. The system is usually run by volunteers with limited training and limited budget.

No power where you need it and two hours to turn the room. Battery-powered wireless fixtures remove the cable run entirely, so a single technician can light a 300 m² ballroom without a single visible lead.

Once a fixture goes on a facade or a permanent mast, every service call becomes a costly access problem. Our IP65 range is built around sealed optics, corrosion-resistant housings and long-term colour stability.

  • Thermal cycling. Day-to-night temperature swings drive condensation inside the housing.

Standard models ship in 7–15 working days depending on quantity. Customised OEM orders take 25–35 days including tooling and sample approval. We confirm the schedule in writing with every quotation.

Yes. Samples are available for all standard models, and the sample cost is credited in full against your first bulk order. Sample freight is normally carried by the buyer.

Two years on the complete fixture, three years on the LED light source. Failures outside the warranty period are repaired at component cost — we keep service stock for every model we have shipped.

Every project ships with a recommended spares kit, typically 1–2% of order value covering PSUs, fans, LED modules and main boards. Additional spares are available for the service life of the product.

For larger projects we can send an engineer. For standard orders we provide remote commissioning support, wiring and DMX documentation, and video guidance — included at no charge.
